Reinstallation of the 2nd Floor Collection Re-installation, large displays, rigging, coordinated movement.
Part of the installation crew that worked from private residences on outdoor sculpture to move pieces to their respective locations based on planning schedules. Created soft lift strap interior padding and butterfly crates with exact footprint of sculptures and added braces and blocks for extra stability.

Assessed conditions of the bronzes and tested cleaning methods for the marble as part of a comprehensive assessment and development of a restoration plan. All bronzes were carefully studied and documented, historic research was performed, and drawings prepared detailing all losses and conditions.
Bronze Survey Architects of the Capitol Winter 2018 - Spring 2018 Grounds Bronze and Hardscapes, Railings, Lamp posts, Metal Window Grates, Refinishing and Patination. Canvas training and GIS mapping geolocation input for the Library of Congress and Architect of the Capitol to identify condition issues on public metalwork.
US Capitol South Extension Restoration 2018-2020 Laser Cleaning, Chemical Consolidation, Ablation, Bioformation Removal, Site Protection, Material Collection and Disposal.
The Extension of the US Capitol exterior stonework, took place from 2018-2020. Performed laser cleaning and chemical consolidation on the carved marble cornice, columns, pilaster capitals, and window and door surrounds during a major exterior restoration of the Senate wing.
Jefferson Memorial Rooftop Renovation 2019-2021 Laser Ablation, Repointing, Site Protection, Laser Enclosure, Stylobate, EAs part of a significant restoration, the marble of the dome and pediment roof was cleaned. Beginning in 2019, biological infestations and other contaminants were removed using Nd:YAG 1064 nm Q-Switch laser ablation and low volume steam cleaning. Collaborated with Grunley Construction to preserve the marble of the dome, architrave, and pediment. The project was finalized in Fall 2021.
Harpers Ferry, Lockwood House Spring 2020- Fall 2021 Virtual Tour and Conservation
Grout Injection, Edge Repair, Wallpaper and Paint Stabilization, Plaster Repair, Virtual Tour The project was solely dedicated to using compatible preservation materials and techniques to stabilize the interior.
Condition Reports and Risk Management in Museum Collections- June 2021-November 2022 Assessed long-term storage with clients to identify items eligible for export and compliant with customs regulations. Additionally, filed incident reports with art handlers and craters in cases of issues or compromises with custom crates. Palletized and designed custom crating for Dumbarton Oaks, Smithsonian Futures Exhibit, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Chapel Hill Museum, and re-fit programs for private trust properties.
Contract Position, Junior Cultural Resource Management (Remote) Winter 2022- Winter 2023 Contributed to internal public scoping and collected background information for planning projects. Drafted sections of planning documents and accessibility plans, including strategic plans, environmental assessments (EAs), and environmental impact statements (EISs), among others. Collaborated under the guidance of the Publications Manager/COR to assist the Denver DSC Planning branches and management.
Federal Building Contract Labor, Condition Reports, Inventory Assessments, and Storage Facility Evaluation: Winter 2023- Present Offers a strategy for the Operational and Cultural Property Risk Analysis Model (CPRAM) to support operations related to facilities management and the interpretation of the Property Maintenance Code 2003 and NAICs 712110, which involves preserving and displaying items of cultural, historical, or educational significance.
Federal Property Collection Survey Harper’s Ferry National Park Service:
Compiled inventories alongside the lead Conservator to assess quarantined and endangered items, reconciled lists of items missing from the collection or designated for deaccession, and prepared field reports.
Federal Outdoor Sculpture: Masaryk Monument professionally cleaned and conserved with lead conservator. Operated scissor lift and created site protection and barriers to protect artwork during the conservation phase. Cleaned and heated with propane to apply wax- worked into the surface.
Outdoor Arlington, VA Sculpture and interior Mosaic site specific works- various artists June-Aug 2023
Condition Evaluations, Biological Treatments, Dry Cleaning, Tile Replacement, Color Matching Conducted condition evaluations of the public art collection, developed a scope of work, and offered treatment recommendations including conditional and priority ratings. Executed the proposed tasks and operated a 340AJ man lift with a mosaic artist. Developed a detailed catalog and archive in preparation for conservation treatment.
